Kendale’s full time Quest program services our gifted learners. The curriculum is taught in ways that cause highly able students to wonder and grasp, and extend their reach. The classroom teachers provide both structure and choice, giving them opportunities to problem-solve and think critically. The students will also demonstrate growth in creative thinking while working on open-ended tasks. Working in groups opens up opportunities to work collaboratively with others as they work on their social and listening skills. A variety of technological devices/apps/programs are also utilized in the classroom. Our belief is that the measure of progress and growth is competition with oneself rather than competition against others. The capacity to extend even the most capable mind is a benchmark of success.
